Yep. Gurkha Grand Reserve.

Of course not. Pearl had three teams that were good enough to make the Final Four, but none did.
Grant is pretty hyped by Bama fans for someone who has not even gotten you guys to the tourney yet.

I got a Cao Maduro Gold ready. Made in Cuba, smuggled in from Iraq.

He, and his orange blazer, are cancers upon the eyes of all of college basketball.

We know a good coach when we see one. It's part of being around a winning tradition.

I was alive for the late 90s and early 2000s.

The 2 square foot pit stains that would slowly appear on them were worse than the blazers themselves.

I don't know who you were talking to, but all of my fellow Bama fans thought our coaches from that era sucked. Like I said, we know a good coach when we see one.

Alright, I am off. I leave you all with a great game. Kevin Turner of Philly Eagles fame is in this one. Keith Jackson and the 3rd Saturday in October...does it get any better?

After they failed, yes, but each time a hire was made Bama fans would convince themselves it was a good hire until they proved otherwise.

When it came to calling football games, Keith Jackson was second to none. As a kid, I would sometimes go to bed with his calling of the 93 Sugar Bowl playing in the background.

Don't most people assume they've made a pretty good hire? And your statement is far from true, anyway. I don't remember too many excited people the day Shula was hired.

The roundtable on Jox said today if they polled bama fans under 30, they would think LSU was a bigger rival fwiw.

I'm under 30, and I disagree. They may be right, but I'm not in that majority. I will say, I am more hyped about LSU this year, but that's just because UT is horrible. It's almost like the current heavyweight boxing champion going up against 69 year old Mohammed Ali. How excited can you really be?

I knew the UT/Bama game was a rival, but after moving here last year, I get why the two states almost hate each other. Maybe not on the intensity of the Tosu/mich rival, but it is pretty fricking close.
