Well, we were told that Oklahoma had the ebst defense in college football and they would beat us, so I think we did alright.
Alabama had nearly a perfect first half, followed by a sloppy second half, but they did what they needed to do.
State escaped with a win but the oline continues to be a weak spot in pass pro. Taylor is holding the ball too long on some plays which doesn’t help. Let injuries are starting to mount and State doesn’t have the depth to overcome many more. With all that said they have found ways to win in a variety of scenarios which is a mark of a good team. As long as K1 is upright the dogs have a chance.
If a game was just 2 quarters, Bama's unstoppable. But, we like to take a half and forget how to football. Destroyed Gamecocks, but who doesn't? Miss St week and could be real bad weather. I expect a 23 hour game because apparently we stop games if there's lightning in North America.
we played very well but lost the injury battle..both of our number 7s are down for significant time and one of our best safteys is out for the season. we have good backups but they cant get hurt. this week against mcneese we wont play many starters and the qb may not play at all. I think texas a and m is so bad its hard to take too much from that game besides the fact that sam Leavitt proved if the line holds up and if he stays in the pocket he can shred you
LSU handled TA&M like a red-headed step child last week, and by doing so has caused the Aggies to consider firing their coach. Geaux Tigers!

Ole Miss was taken to the woodshed in Gainesville. We had no answer for Florida's running game and weren't able to muster up enough points on offense to keep it respectable. Can't sugarcoat it, that was a bad loss. I can guarantee that Ole Miss will not lose this weekend, though. Time to get back to the drawing board and use the bye week to teach our DBs how to tackle in space.
Dominant performance from Bama against South Carolina. We finally got off to the ever elusive “fast start” and never really looked back, aside from a couple of slow series in the 3rd quarter. Keelon Russel has been fantastic through 4 games, and our run game has been a big help. Our defense has continued to allow the occasional big play, but otherwise remains fairly stingy. The exciting whites, Josh Ford (TE) and Luke Metz (LB) continue to be thumpers who bring the nastiness we’ve missed the last couple of years. Ryan Williams has exchanged his butterfingers for reliable playmaking, which will need to continue. A road game against MSU is next in a tough environment for a young QB. Thankfully, MSU has impressed - so this is setting up less like a trap game before UGA, and hopefully has our full attention.
feeling good about my tigers but the injuries are starting to pile up. we are supposed to get treydez back for bama and maybe whit so thats good news. im hoping we rest sam Leavitt for mcneese next week. as far as the game last weekend,Leavitt looked good on one leg being forced to stay in the pocket .I think we may have found a big play receiver in Jackson Hayes and our defense was lights out. the lsu defense has had one bad half of football but thats been enough to have us stuck in the 10-12 range. Hopefully we get through mcneese with no injuries
Georgia - Dominant win over a team that was expected to be good going into the season, but doesn’t look to be the part so we still haven’t been truly tested. Defense played great, but we were also gifted three turnovers from Mateer. Chris Cole is a stud. Offense did what they were supposed to do, especially with Frazier out. Talyn Taylor looks like he might be the guy we’ve been looking for at receiver. Next up is another team that is currently near the bottom of the SEC in Vandy before the schedule gets a lot tougher. Texas - It was an ugly performance, but you should never have to apologize for ranked road wins in the SEC, especially at Neyland. Offense continues to struggle. Missing Smothers and Coleman (for the last two quarters) definitely didn’t help. Defense was completely dominant until the last two possessions. Colin Simmons played the game of a lifetime (excluding pretending the pee on the QB to give a first down on 4th and 30). Tenn’s QB definitely helped create some of the sacks, but good pressure all around. ST play was atrocious. Gave up a PR touchdown, trick play called back for a fair catch from the wrong guy, and failed to recover Tenn’s onside kick. But a win is a win is a win. Next up: the struggling OU who needs this game to give any hope to the rest of their season.
Like arse. No offense at all
