I'm aware.
I'd heard of the spanish moon before.
Watched some youtube videos of an Oxford indie band playing there.

yeah...

the french quarter is cool, but not the best part of nola.

well maybe if you're a tourist or some shite.

baton rouge has plenty of things to do, especially on a gameday weekend.

there are bars that open at literally 8am in the morning till 2am at night.

Doc really though, LSU isn't that pretty. By the lakes, beautiful. The quad, is nice. Other places...eh.

Baton Rouge is fun if you find it as you said though.

I'm off that night. If I'm not yet, I will be. I'm willing to do some depraved shite to get rid of that shift.

I can't wait for that show.

One word: food. You can eat southern-fried catfish and biscuits everywhere in the south. Blind-folded you probably couldn't tell where you were.

Really good Louisiana cooking can only be found, strangely enough, in Louisiana. Seriously, I've learned never to expect good Louisiana cooking anywhere out of the state. The locals there are not qualified to judge.

Agreed. Louisiana does food better than anywhere else in the US. Yes, you can find better restaurants in big cities, but there is no better local food than here.
