TT never disappoints. I think you have single handily stopped new posters in the SEC rant right dead in their tracks?

Ok, then kids from New Jersey or Washington state would never consider a team like Arkansas. Now, they send tapes for our consideration. This was never the case pre- Petrino. They know he is a solid coach and prepares kids day in and day out for the NFL.

We already have 5 out of 10 committed (based on the top 10 list from Rivals). One is committed elsewhere (Frazier to Auburn) and only 2 of the remaining 4 have offers.
I think Brey Cook will commit to Arkansas eventually, but his family is now coping with the death of a loved one so he has put his recruiting to the side for the time being.
Artez Brown holds an offer, but the general consensus among the Arkansas fanbase is that he is being recruited as a DB and we think he prefers RB, so I personally would not be surprised to see him go somewhere else. I know he's giving serious consideration to Ole Miss.
The two who do not have offers are Wesleigh Foster and Brad Shearin. I expect Foster to get an offer as a DB, and he will probably commit once he has his offer.
Shearin I'm not sure about. He's a 6'0" LB and Petrino prefers tall LBs, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him go without an offer.
CLIFFS: I think we will get 7 of Arkansas's top 10 players for the 2011 class. We could get 8 if Artez Brown ends up committing to Arkansas, but we could only get 6 if he and Brey Cook both commit elsewhere.

is receiving tapes the trade off for missing out on in state recruits (btw most programs receive unsolicited tapes from random kids from random places - get excited if 4 and 5 stars are doing it)

Dam, this is what I meant to Post but I have to keep up my status as a shitty Poster.
OU thinks they have the in on Cook and hell he is built like a Sasquatch but that was before the Big 12 became the Weak 12. So, we shall see?

The Gus bus didn't do too well last year and our defense has improved since then.
LSU please keep Miles, he'll hurt you and help us in the end.
Alabama, well that's going to be the game. Probably the two best leaders of young men in the SEC.
Ole Piss, well Hootie has a lot of pay back coming.
MSU, never can tell about that team. They could soon be a contender.
