As amusing as it would be to have a coach walking the sideline that looks like he's sucking himself off no thanks.

Compare Spurrier's first 4 years at USC to Mullen's at State. I'd say USC and State were pretty similar before Steve's arrival maybe even give the edge to USC.

You're an idiot. Mullen's team blew out Michigan 52-14 in the 2010 Gator Bowl. This is only his fourth year as HC.

nah, I'm just more fond of Ole Miss than State during Egg Bowl week this year. I usually flip a coin, but it was automatic since you guys have "Believed" this year and have 3 straight on them. Just hatin, brah.

Lol. Good try. The Mullens have made it abundantly clear they are put off by delusional/psycho fan bases.

Only state would not expect a little progression in the program after four years

If three straight bowl games is not progression, then I don't know what is

Just ask anyone who's ever played for him for their vote of confidence

That's a whole team that has come and gone. That is absolutely no excuse. Nick Saban won a national championship in 3 years. State hasn't gotten within sniffing distance of the SEC Championship.

Ummm....what?

Nick Saban's third year as a head coach was at Michigan State and believe me, he was nowhere close to winning a national championship.

At Bama obviously.

Apples and oranges. Mullen is in his fourth season as a head coach anywhere. Saban got his first NC in his ninth year (adjusted for his stint with the Browns).

I'm certainly not implying that Mullen will get a national championship at MSU but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gets at least two (somewhere) before his career is over.
