It's going to be quite a race between Nico and Dart for the pre-season Heisman.

He’s built like a wide receiver, if the oline can’t protect him he’ll be injured quickly.

Is this the same dude that didn't even start last year?

We'll see. I have no idea based on Heupel's terrible decision making of starting a horrible Milton twice now over guys who seem to be better on the field
I agree with this. I think coaches egos can override logic sometimes and their jobs are to find guys with the tools and the hone them. Same reason JaMarcus russell, johnny manziel were picked in the first round. Heupels confidence in his ability overrode the obvious answer and that's OK. Not great but not the end of the world. Our backup was a ucf transfer that no sec school recruited so it might have been equal performance wise with a much lower ceiling

The fact that he never earned a start while his team lost four games would concern me if I was a Tennessee fan. He was obviously unprepared to contribute to his team in any meaningful way last season. We've had several freshman QBs win national championships recently... He lost his opportunity to be named in that group. I would not think that 8 million would be that much of a distraction for an 18-year-old kid, on a college campus

I’m sure he’ll put up nice numbers all year and get over hyped and then get humbled in Athens. Like all buttchugger qbs under Heupel.

Did you just copy and paste this from the Joe Milton thread saying the same thing last year?

But would have been in a 12 team play-off in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004... and was in the SEC Championship game in 2007. But LSWHO knocked us out.
So still relevant in mid 2000's thank-you.

You can be concerned for both of us.

Maybe that was the voices in your head. I certainly never said anything other than Nico should be starting.
Next question?

Hmm, let's see...how about wins in the last 5 years? You know, recent history, as long as you want to talk about relevancy.

Florida would have made a twelve team playoff in 2012, 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2020 but I'd never suggest that means we were relevant those years come on.

Your guys butts are going to be humiliated on your home field for that sham you pulled on us. You gave them extra motivation.
You think anybody was this stupid not to figure out who was behind this "investigation"?
