I’m sure the knee pad must have been developed for a reason.
How did we abandon it all at once?
Maybe a place kicker does not need padded pants, but I’m surprised that some many position players don’t wear them.
Auburn had a couple of guys go kneecap to knee cap in one game this year. Both wearing shorts with shoulder pads.
