It's a legit claim for Michigan, because the AP awarded it, and it was before the BCS and during the poll era.
So again, my disagreement is with the AP voters as I said to start with.
The AP claim I think is bogus is when USC claimed the AP title when LSU won the BCS.
It's obvious you are incapable of following actual discussion, which does explain your generally ignorant posts.

My system for titles is pretty simple and is based on era.
Pre1936 = math polls, rose bowls, etc.
1936-1997 = poll era. AP and Coaches polls are valid. Math polls no longer valid.
1998-2013 = BCS Era. BCS titles are valid.
2014-present = Playoff titles are valid.
So if a claim falls outside those, then it's a bogus claim IMO.
Personally, I think you're just grasping at shite looking for a way to cop out on your 1997 mistake.
