Doesn’t change their preseason expectations.

They are as worthless as making Gonzaga the top overall one seed. Arkansas lost a first rounder in Moses Moody, Jalen Tate and Justin Smith. It was a bit overzealous to put Arkansas that high with the amount of players leaving and rebuilding a team full of transfers.

Still returned several really good pieces and put together basically the best transfer class in the country. The preseason ranking was warranted.

True. Hogs lost a ton of talent from last year. And now I hope Duke's next opponent smokes them because of the idiot Duke fan trolling on here and, well, idiot Duke fans everywhere.

LOL! Duke put on a clinic and maybe …just maybe…..Arkansas learned a thing or two about how to play “real” basketball tonight.

While the transfer class was good, it wasn't going to get Arkansas to the final four. Some of them such as Chris Lykes were going to lose starting positions and none of them are looking to be high draft picks or even drafted at all. They were filler until this coming class.

I don't think they were fillers. I can't see Musselman, with as much as he hates losing, putting together a class he knows or thinks won't do anything. Lykes was wild out there. He hit some clutch free throws, but he couldn't get out of his own way. He was Musselman's Gary Ervin. Offensively Umude was the best get in the portal, and really the only one that complimented Notae on a regular basis. Toney was the best defender but I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone not be able to finish as much as he couldn't under the basket. Wade had some big games sporadically, but at least he was consistent.

Hopefully Smith and Ford live up to the hype on scoring because that's what we lacked. This was one of the worst scoring teams in some time.

They aren't bad players at all but Muss had to fill in the gap between the recruiting classes. You aren't going to find top level talent in the portal unless you get lucky and find a freshman that is first round potential. But mostly likely you will find solid contributors that will help a team avoid a rebuilding season.

The flagship knows no peers. How dare you insinuate that they don't know real basketball. They are college basketball bluebloods. Think about what you just said ffs. Blasphemy.
