I guess neither team can claim it. It's now in the twilight zone.

I'm hearing different:
quote:
forfeit every win of the 2007 football season except for the win in the bowl game that season against Colorado, 6 scholarships lost over a 3 year period, and 3 years of probation.

Not true. The ineligible players were not playing in the UT game. The UT game and the bowl game we will not be vacating in 2007. The NCAA had already cleared them to play in the IB and the bowl game.

I was kinda hoping we could vacate the ULM loss. Any chance of that happening?

No,that's one of the sanctions : they are making Alabama produce a "Bama's Greatest Games" with that game with Tom Roberts narrarating it.

They know we run a clean program so they are going to leave us alone. Saban has never been one to cheat as far as I know. I never heard rumors of him cheating at LSU.
I've never heard rumors of Saban cheating anywhere he's been.
LSU doesn't cheat, period, no matter who the coach is. The Chancellor's and Athletic Director's offices can't be faulted for lack of oversight. Both are very 'hands-on' in their management.

Didn't the NCAA look into something to do with tutors at LSU in the late 90's?
