So you're basing an argument that college officiating is terrible on a play where college officiating isn't in question?
Just amazing stuff right there.....

I thought it should have been a touchdown when I first saw it but after doing some research I discovered the rule has changed and they made the right call.
As a state fan I could bitch and whine about all the calls we didnt get but we beat ourselves no questions asked. Fun game to watch though congrats auburn
post more.
And Auburn's special teams(read: Tre Mason) gave Auburn an edge as well.

The tears of State fans taste just as good today as they did yesterday.
You are Mississippi State, and don't ever forget it.

The thing is......there are more butthurt fans of other schools than MSU ones. They may still be in mourning though.

MS State had two plays to get one Yard with a "good" running back, and a Running Huge QB. They failed against Auburns Freshman and Sophmore Def Front.....
They didnt deserve to Win....Period

Very true. I believe their starting field position was around the 40. We need a kicker like auburns that can put it through the end zone

Our kicker is 13 years old, now that is impressive.

I don't see why anyone would be trying to perform any kind of "block" on an OFFENSIVE lineman.

This is the first time in forever AU has had a KO specialist and returner as good as Parkey and Mason. It really makes a difference. And the best thing is they are a sophomore and freshman, respectively. We'll have them for a while

when the Au player, that was in the endzone, pushed him he was still in the air should that have any bearing on the call? Plus, it looked really close that one foot landed in bounds first? I don't care enough to go back a analyze that play or anything but those were 2 things I remember thinking when I watched that play/replay/replay etc.

no you witless wonder, i am arguing that college officiating is terrible based on years of - gasp - watching college football.
i was using the play in question as a reason to review every - single - potential scoring play. all of them. then none of this would be an issue and everyone would know exactly if the player scored or not.
it would literally add maybe 2 minutes on each occurrence. big damn deal.

so you want to completely stop play and momentum for 2 minutes every time something looks close? Do you realize how much bitching will happen because of this?
OR.....they can review 3-4 angles at the same time which takes maybe 15 seconds at the most.
but yeah.....stopping play for 2 minutes numerous times a game when the offense has momentum is one hell of an idea.

No, that's an NFL rule.

on plays involving the ball crossing the goal line, yes. those are, obviously, the most important plays.

you cannot properly look at 4 angles in 15 seconds. exaggerate much?

yes you can. You're aware that there is such a thing as split screen, right?
The booth receives constant feed from 3-4 select cameras and is played/manipulated simultaneously.
learning is fun. are you having fun yet?
