Less than 4 minutes left between Chattanooga and UC Irvine.
LSU’s nemesis North Texas got knocked out in the last round by UC Irvine.
Neither Tennessee-Chattanooga nor Tennessee-Knoxville have ever made a final four in the NCAA tourney. Knoxville has never made a NIT final four have they? How is it that Chattanooga is a more accomplished program than Knoxville?

A former Chattanooga player who transferred to UC Irvine just hit 2 free throws to tie the game with less than 10 seconds. The transfer portal is nuts. And officiating is horrendous at all levels.

Glad to see Chattanooga get the win. Town should have a good party for it hopefully.

Glad they won it. Chattanooga is the third Tennessee school to win a national title in men’s basketball. They join Memphis (2 NIT titles) and Vanderbilt (1 NIT title). Go Mocs.
