But then the first down would have ended the game. With the 25 second play clock it was the right decision.

It's a penny auction site.
Basically, you buy bids - 120 bids for $75 for example - and then you bid against people for an item. The bids each increase the price by a penny. The auction has a time limit but once it gets under 1 minute left, every bid adds 10 seconds to the timer.
It's hard to explain but it is addicting. If you sign up, you can use the code "espn" to get 16 free bids.
I have watched someone win an iPad for $6.83 today, a big arse plasma for $18.00, and a $100 Target gift card for $.89.
You have to figure in the costs of the bids, obviously, but you can get a good deal if you sit there for hours and get the last bid.
It is a very bad thing for a competitive person.
