I dunno, I was mainly on ESPN at the time. There, after 11/5 there were 3 groups:
1. Good game, congrats, next (a distinct minority)
2. We wuz robbed! (a sizeable part)
3. The Great Hibernation of November/December 2011
After 1/9 the little ones woke from their nap, the 'wronged' were 'righted' and then the few 'good game, congrats, next'.

Yeah, in hindsight AU should have got their shot, a great team. But considering what USC had, might have worked out for the best.

Auburn 2004 is the only team in the BCS era to get robbed. The only one. That's why I don't get the BCS hate. Every year, except for that one exception, if you went undefeated, you were in.
