everyone has personal opinions.. i dont like the playoffs, just doesnt go with college football and doesnt seem right

it's obvious that Saban and you don't give a shite about the athletes.
saban's statement is arrogant as hell because he's only giving his prospective at Alabama. I can assure you with 100% accuracy his MSU team was damn happy with an Independence Bowl appearance before he was hired by LSU.
your agreeing to it shows you do not have much prespective. there are many, many, many coaches and players that would disagree with you both. in fact, it think it highly likely that the VAST MAJORITY of people that are PARTICIPANTS in college football (coaches, players, athletic dept employees, etc) that like to go to bowl games and these games ARE NOT IRRELEVANT TO THEM).
It is obvious you never participated in college sports. it is NOT all about the fans; the players count too.
