Exactly. It is remarkable that he has a job - one of the very worst "sports journalists" out there.
Scarbinksy was the only writer that would work for what they are willing to pay -- jack shite. Even Ray Melick quit.
Scarbinsky is the best writer for the Birmingham New (al.com) since Finebaum. The difference is Finebaum sold out to the UA Fanbase and Scarbinsky hasn't. He is the only writer in the state that will call out a coach, school or fan base.

Its an al.com article, not like it has real facts in it or anything and since
Scabs wrote it that should tell you all about it....I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Lol and Alabama has a better chance of winning the west than Arkansas. But of course you're an Arky fan, your hope is for Bert to get SEC win number 3

Wouldn't be surprised to see him make a run at Congress then possibly the Senate later on. Which state I don't know he has options...

The article is premised on Saban's vocal unhappiness with the way the college game is being played and its direction these days. But Saban's never happy. Well, scratch that, you could also say Saban's not happy unless he's griping about something. IOW, I don't see his complaints as anything new for him. He's never going to be a happy-go-lucky coach. It's just not in him. His personality is about as opposite as 'Mr. Ray of Sunshine' as you can get. Just the way he is.
That said, there's not much left for him to accomplish. Hell, you could argue there's really nothing left for him to accomplish in CFB. That, imo, is far more likely to influence when/if he retires. However, I don't expect him to retire any time soon unless he starts to get bored with what he's doing and feels he's starting to slack off (I get the feeling that Saban would retire if he didn't meet his OWN standards even if he was still great).
