More Dads will be selling their sons than ever before! Why not"as long as they don't know they're being shopped"! LOL NCAA sets example by letting Cam remain eligible. Money to be made, and the perfect loop hole to get by with!
I can't believe this wasn't thought of sooner.

The saddest part is all of the pop warner, middle school and high school athletes and the parents have absolutely no clue which rules will apply and to what degree depending upon their various school choice as a result of the NCAA's egregiously arbitrary and capricious selective enforcement of its own rules.
Selling a jersey at UGA nets an immed. 4 game suspension.
Selling thousands of dollars worth of gear and lying to investigators at Ohio St nets a post-poned 5 game suspension to promote "competition" by allowing the players to play in their bowl game.
Lying to investigators at Okla St nets an immediate suspension for the remainder of the season.
Allegation of one incident of academic impropriety at LSU nets an immediate 1 year suspension.
Three incidents of academic impropriety (and a stolen laptop) nets no punishment at Florida as long as you transfer prior to being expelled.
Paying $250K to a HS football coach (with no known benefit to family or player) at Bama nets a two year post-season ban and reduction of scholarships.
Paying $2K to a basketball player at LSU nets "draconian sanctions".
Paying innumerable benefits to the family of a RB at USC (by an agent not affiliated with the school) nets severe sanctions.
Solicitation by a father of at least $180K (at a discount due to past relationship with coach) nets absolutely no known punishment.
Providing minimal benefits to a recruit who never stepped foot on the field (and the involved coach was summarily dismissed) at LSU, who self-reported and self-imposed sanctions, nets at least a loss of 2 scholarships.
Conducting an elaborate P4P scheme throughout more than a decade involving coaches, boosters, members of the Board of Trustees, athletic dept officials and the team chaplain at Auburn nets no known punishment.
Which rules apply to my son depending upon which school he chooses?
Can I solicit $$ for my son's commitment as long as he is not aware of it? Why not?
Which rules are the really important ones and which ones am I okay to ignore?
Can my son get a crimson-colored Tahoe if he is a top-notch WR?
What's more egregious: riding in a golf cart driven by an agent between classes; attending a party at the invitation and expense of a former teammate who is now well-off; or choosing to attend Auburn because "my dad said the money is just to good"?
It is not impropriety but only the appearance of impropriety that is greatly damaging to the integrity of the sport.
PERCEPTION IS REALITY in the hearts and minds of all the HS athletes and their parents.
This makes the NCAA look freaking ridiculous!
