I didn't even know there were BAMA fans until 2008, the day after the beat UGA I thought I had moved to Tuscaloosa with all the flags and bama stuff that I guess was in their closets.
This is absolutely true. There are a LOT of bandwagon Bama fans these days. They have some great fans, but the amount of frontrunners in the fan base leaves a poor impression.
For me though, it's obviously Florida. Not even close, really.

Arkansas stuck us with Houston Nutt & has to be the trashiest fan base I've ever seen. That University loses a good deal of money by not selling new t-shirts and hats.

I have been to most all of the sec schools, but the worst was the Florida gator fans by far .Will never go back to that place.

Lets be real here, ant team that wins a lot, like BAMA lately, is gonna have a lot of bandwagon/new fans.
The only team I hate is the barn, in which I posted earlier. But with that said I have only been close to actually fighting one person at a game. 2007 LSU at BDS a whole group of LSU fans behind me were being the epitome of "a-hole fans", but I was able to ignore them since there was a space between us (they were at the bottom of the next level up). But one SOB from another section somehow found me, out all the people there, to come stand beside and start heckling. I was able to show restraint, mainly because I wanted to see the rest of the game, and he was only about 5'9" and about 170 lbs and drinking, so I didn't want frick him up and end up in jail instead of watching the rest of an exciting game. But I don't hold this against the rest of the fan base.
