Came here to say this. Also maybe Roger Wehrli at Cornerback for a little while. From Wiki: "Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach has called Wehrli the best cornerback he played against".
Both Winslow and Wehrli have since been surpassed, but in their day they had an argument for greatest ever.
