Playing Texas is actually the best part of this thing. I live in Austin and can't wait to wipe the freaking arrogance off their faces again. I am debating on whether I should go to the first game at Kyle or sell the tickets and pay for my kid's education. Those first few games though are going to be absolutely insane with the hate and emotion on both sides, hell we have almost 1 million alumni between the 2 schools now and the amount of bad blood simply can't be measured. I know I have a Group Chat with a group of coaches we all coached our boys in Pop Warner and it is half Aggie and half sip and the smack talk has been glorious. It's fun to laugh at sip for losing to Kansas or being TCU's bitch over the last decade but nothing is like playing them and rubbing their nose in Bevo shite.

We don't fear them on the field, never have. We just hate their political scheming and arrogance. We have really enjoyed not having to deal with them and their "We're Texas" bullshite where they look down on everyone. It's been a blast watching them struggle in the Big Dumpster Fire Conference.

We also really enjoyed the SEC as it was. It fit us culturally almost as well as the old SWC when it was actually a strong conference. Change is inevitable though.

Oh, and we are dead serious that schools like State should be concerned about this move. Texas is freaking evil and they prey on schools like you, the body count of programs they have destroyed in conferences is long and distinguished. They don't play by the rules and they really do have influence with ESPN and the NCAA that is hard to fathom until you see it. Don't underestimate them or assume that the SEC can control them. You guys have a really good thing going and adding Texas will change it.

It looks like it's happening though so bring it on an I will dust off my Bevo BBQ recipes.

Eh you are smart enough to understand this fricks up our recruiting. Y’all can say “you scared” all day but it sucks to lose a great selling point on the recruiting trail. No other SEC team would want to give up a talking point like that if they had it.

Maybe USC fans will feel this is Clemson comes.

Are you really trying to use that as an excuse in reply to an Auburn fan? We’re geographically between Alabama and UGA who have dominated recruiting for 5-10 years. Not to mention Florida and tennesse just a few hours south and north of us.

My honest opinion, either sack up and stay, or go to the Big12 if it exists. I’d want whatever the easiest path to the playoffs are. Conferences seem to be slowly diluting away anyhow.
