I just don't see it happening because if you wouldn't be willing to make him HC now, why would you after two years?

Of course not, in order to be a HC at SC, you have to be a HOF HC with a Natty on the resume', we just had Holtz and Spurrier. We would most likely hire Saban, Meyer, or clone Spurrier and just roll with Darth Visor.

Why won't you just answer the damn question? I don't know y'all's expectations for a HC candidate. I think South Carolina is an attractive enough job to land some good coaches. I think y'all could do better than Muschamp but if y'all don't then offering the HCIW is smart I guess.

A HCIW at South Carolina is laughable. Who the frick wants to coach at that shite hole. The only reason you got Spurrier is because he got a lifetime membership at Augusta.

Good point, I could be overestimating USCe's potential.

No, it'll just affirm to everyone that USCe will never be a contender.

haha, if y'all didn't pay Cam's dad, we would've won the SEC in '10. We've been damn close in '11-'13, we're getting there. We took a step back this year, but now we're making a move to take 2 steps forward. You are going to melt sooo hard if this happens.

Yeah, but that is a stupid deal from the USCe side but you can't see it.

You know you never defined why.

If y'all offer it, then I will be disappointed we didn't get Muschamp but there was nothing we could do. That's the one thing we can't match. But I won't be mad.

That could be part of it. They are buddies, they flew out to Media Days together.

Was Gus ready to be Auburn's HC in '08?

Jesus, bama jr., I'll help you out.

Because, as I've already said, he literally just failed in the exact same division with better talent and a bigger talent pool (and more resources). Why on Earth would USCe AD offer him a HCIW position right now? Unless they are that desperate, then they deserve him.

You have zero talent at the QB position and you think USCe is going to make a comeback?

South Carolina had their run, now its over. Clowney is gone, your Senior Qbs are gone, your defense is back to being terrible. Its over. Sorry but you know its true

Nope, and I'd venture to guess that's why we didn't offer him HCIW.

Better question is would we have wanted to offer Gus HCIW after 2010?

The answer would've been no.
