Muschamp isn't leaving Texas. His son needs the medical care provided in Austin, he is the head coach in waiting. Mack Brown is done in the next two years.

Why do you say this so emphaticaly? Consider the fact that he will be in Mack's shadow when he takes over. Better to be judged on his own, in the SEC, at a school that he can recruit well? Maybe so.

I dont know the exact condition but it is serious and Austin has one of the worlds best childrens hospitals 10 mins for UT's campus.

Because it's one of the 2 or 3 best jobs in college football.

Hmmm, I thought Muschamp gets a huge check from the gayhorns if he isn't head coach after next year.?
