threads like this are the reason i despise ole miss fans. miss. state> ole miss fact.
Yea there are plenty of LSU and OM fans I hate. I feel like only ignorant individuals deal in absolutes though. Hope you have a great day.

Don't give yourself too much credit there, Dewwaynne.
I am facepalming because you awful State posters are coming out of the woodwork like there's a Skynyrd concert in West Point.
FYI: There isn't a Skynyrd show in West Point. Calm down.

I think the OP actually brings up a good point. I think Nutt and Mullen are both good coaches. Therefore, the more talented team is likely going to win with all other things being considered. Ole Miss, on paper at the moment, appears to have a brighter future from a talent perspective...advantage Mississippi.
The truth of the matter is that at the moment, both fanbases are pretty insufferable. State believes they can win the SEC without talent and Ole Miss believes...well, that they will win the SEC soon and have believed that for almost 50 years without it coming to pass.

See, the thing is, nobody knows which team is "on the rise". Also, define "on the rise"? Hell just a few months ago I think Doc may have started a thread or stated in a thread (along with plenty of other posters - not singling you out Doc) that State was the program on the rise and they were going to own the state in recruiting. Who the frick wants to go to OM?? My my how things can change quickly.
Truth be told, nobody knows how this class will turn out. State could have some gems and we could have some duds, who knows. But I do enjoy getting all of the top-notch MS players we want after this ghey-arse bush league shite:

I would go to a Skynyrd concert probably as fast as you would go to an Elton John Concert.

I'm an Elton John fan. Goodbye Yellowbrick Road is an excellent pop-rock album.

Don't hate them at all, have a good friend that is gay, but he doesnt brag about stickin it in anyones rear. You bears are all cocky since you landed some good recruits this year, but you have to be able to coach them up, not down. Nutt took a once heisman hopeful, Masoli, and turned him into a 4 game winner, 8 game loser.
I have no idea what homosexuality has to do with any of this, aside from your latent homophobia. You're just an arse, is all.
And, pray, do tell, how did Nutt do that to Masoli? I forgot that Football was a sport that one person played agianst another, like singles tennis, and not a sport played between two teams of 24 starting players and their backups.
Smartassery aside, Masoli was fine this year. He was a legitimate offensive threat. The defense sucked balls and his line was inexperienced. How in the hell is that some sort of evidence of TEH QUARTERBACK KILLAR!!11
Long-story short, people who subscribe to such convenient notions as "Houston Nutt ruined Jeremiah Masoli" are the same type of simpletons who believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim.

I'm not saying he isn't good, I wouldn't go see him or skynyrd, not my cup of tea. It was rebfebres that associates all state fans with skynyrd, yet all my friends that went to bear country listened to skynyrd and david allen coe. So I don't get his idiotic logic, I'm assuming he is under the impression that all state people are rednecks but since om is a med/law school only high class people go there.

Only thing I am assuming is that you are a moron and probably in high school. And you have done nothing to sway me.
