Pretty good read

- Replaced Malzahn at Arky State

- Responsible for a noticeable uptick in recruiting during his seven years with Boise

- Losing assistant after assistant didn’t help with consistency at Boise

- Vocal about his displeasure with the support that the MWC showed its members

- Frustrated with the commitment, progress, and mentality of the University as well

- Essentially gave Boise an ultimatum at the end of the 2019 season

- Boise has a new President and vacant AD position

He wants to compete at the highest level and seems very motivated. I’m on board.

It'll be interesting to see how he does at AU.

After Bill Clark turned the Barn down, I didn't anticipate a HC being announced before the end of bowl season.

My next question is why would a guy who played at BSU, was an assistant coach at BSU, and immediately bolted for the BSU HC gig leave Boise? Would seem like his dream job.

The post does a good job of answering all that.
