Good Lord... MSU is completely and hopelessly pathetic. Get'em out of the SEC.

Considered it in 1999 when we lost to you guys, but I've been quite content with life ever since.

Strength and Conditioning Coach Matt Balis to UConn.
Trust me when I say that MSU will probably be better off without him.

Have to agree with you, I think its time for a change at S&C. Too many injuries this year, seems to be a sign of a weakening S&C program. The team will be stronger for it this year given we make a solid hire, which I have complete confidence in them doing.
If we land ULL's guy I think we will be extremely happy with the results.

We're the 4th biggest team in all of CFB. Balis has to get some credit for that...

I agree but at the same time Damian Robinson is currently useless at 330 lbs, size isn't all that matters.

As someone who works in this industry, I will say this. Just because you have been around a lot of big programs and have a lot of nice titles doesn't make you a good strength coach.
Being loud and enthusiastic doesnt make you a good coach either. Tommy Moffitt IMO is the best strength coach in the SEC. Bama has a good program because they run a Moffitt type strength program.
Fitzgerald, formerly at USCe, was a great strength coach as well. There are probably other really good ones, that I may not be that familiar with.
Paul Jackson at Ole Miss is also a Moffitt protege.
*Mizzouri has a great strength program as well. I forget they are now in the SEC sometimes.
