Most improved:

Call me a homer, but if LSU's offense gets anywhere above 70th in the country, they should make it to Atlanta for the SECCG..With new OC Steve Kragthorpe in and Crouton out, look for the LSU offense to emphasize power running game with their stable of backs, and only throw occasionally. They will rely on a stingy young defense led by the return of defensive end Sam Montgomery and LB Ryan Baker

Runner up: Georgia

Murray is the best pure pocket passer in the SEC..Expect UGA to beat Boise State in a slugfest in the Georgia dome

Most Regressed:

Auburn

The tigers are expecting a dropoff at QB, and you have to remember that all-world athlete cam Newton made everyone around him better..Emory Blake returns at hideout, but will Barrett Trotted or a young Kiehl Frazier be able to lead the AU offense without some major first time starter pitfalls? I dont see it. They also lose Nick Fairley, a lineman that resembled Glenn Dorsey or Bama's Marcel Darius..they will have to rely on many young guys, and compared to last year, there will be a BIG dropoff in production this year for AU..expect 5-7 to 7-5, compared to a perfect season last year, and AU is easily the team with the biggest win dropoff..

Runner up: Ole Miss..

Expect the black bears to be dead last in an immensely talented SEC west this year..while maybe not a big dropoff, they certainly do not improve at all, especially at quarterback

That would be a straight up embarrassment to the rest of the conference. We can't let it happen.

Not really. We all expect AU to regress obviously. We're prepared for that.

A team ranked in the 20s coming off a 6-7 season losing to a team ranked in the top 10 is an embarrassment?

I think he meant boise beating uga comfortably would be an embarrassment...

Personally, i think Boise is overrated like everyone says. I also think Georgia will give them all they can handle, and hold on to win a nail biter in a home game for the dawgs in the Georgia Dome.

Losing in a blowout in our own backyard to a MWC team? Yeah, I'd say so.

Les Miles has more say in LSU's offense than any of their fans want to believe. Every time I read about a miracle working OC stepping in at LSU, I laugh. Miles has offensive roots folks, he's not going to roll over and give complete reign to an OC.

Well I think losing a blowout to anyone would be embarrassing. Fortunately we won't get blown out by boise.

Not saying that..im just saying anyone better than ol' crouton is a huge step in the right direction..we used to rely on a power running game and a more pro style offense..crouton changed all that, trying the spread, play action, all this other bs that didn't work(but we were too loaded for it NOT to work in 07)

Krags should be a step up from Crouton, even if he ISNT a great OC

Most LSU fans have the same feeling that UF fans have right now. Jumping for joy. However, in LSU's case, you still have Miles there, that does impact the offense. I don't care what any LSU fan says about Miles not being involved on offense, it's complete bull. I do see LSU being a little more productive than last year on offense though. I think it will be more a result of play calling rather than a completely new scheme.
