yes...I am being totally honest. 2 of the 4 years in conference, Missouri greatly exceeded preseason expectations (by winning the East)...in the other two years, they finished lower than preseason predictions. That seems pretty straight forward.

Nope...I was responding to the statement "Mizzou has been at it's best in the SEC when the focus of expectations are elsewhere". Actually, 1/2 the time, Missouri has been at it's best when expectations are elsewhere...1/2 the time, Missouri is worse than predicted when expectations are elsewhere. Expectations are always elsewhere...so, basically it means that "when expectations are elsewhere, Missouri will finish between 1st and 6th in the East". That is a more accurate statement.

No, I didn't. I made reference to them in my narrative. I was simply saying that poor preseason expectations do not necessarily correlate with Missouri exceeding them. I simply posted the seasons to negate the OP's hypothesis.

The seems to have people seeing RED on here, there is no doubt about it. It's almost impossible to make a legit point if you're a Mizzou fan on here, it's like trying to reason with animals.
