Memphis sounds good to me.

Has pink's slipped his ankle bracelet?

Dunno Mitch, what about MA Jr.?

BTW you are growing more stupid with each passing day, if that is even possible. Gaze at my sig line and stand in wonder at your achievement.

I bet it's killing you.

You know Pink's will never survive next season and Mike will flourish.

Enjoy the sig line.

I'm probably one of the few Arkansas posters who was disappointed with the MA hire TBH.

Do I think Pel was the answer? No.

I wanted to give Pel another year then fire him and go for another coach who actually has offensive sets and believes in pick and rolls, pop and picks, high to low passing and other things. Not just cuts and screens that result in nothing.

I do understand why we let Pel go for other things than his record while the coach. He couldn't control his players, APR was so low that we know have to drop a scholarship it was just really bad....

The trainwreck started when Nolan left when we basically "had" to hire Stan Heath over Bill Self to protect ourselves in court so it would look good.

But he is our coach now so I will at least give him a chance an support him for now.

finally, a mature Arky poster whose views are grounded in reality.

Not relishing the Arky current situation because we've lived with it. Hope MA gets some traction because a rising tide will help lift all boats in the conference, no flagship pun intended.

But please refrain from crediting MA for our success this year (something MA himself was unable to resist). This is due 100% to good chemistry which was lacking in spades last year.

Wasn't the Womens tournament a pretty good success when it was in Little Rock?

I'd support a rotation of ATL, Memphis, Orlando, NO, Dallas and maybe Houston just for recruiting purposes, we need to annex H-town as SEC country in a bad way.

Dallas might be a better option for basketball since it would pull in more Arkansas fans. I don't think A&M and LSU fans are going to flock to the tournament unless either team is good. I'd say Houston is very much SEC country now though. I think A&M has more fans (definitely more graduates) than Texas in Houston, and LSU is a solid third in that category.
