May be true but more likely just playing coy as Clemson did. Clemson didn't make known it's cases yet still had multiple players out for undisclosed reasons ie covid. Nothing says the coaches have to give their opponents an edge in preparation.

That’s not what Saban said anyway. He said he didn’t know of any guys that would “for sure” be out and that he wouldn’t be making any announcements about it (which is dumb, but that’s what he said)
