Just asking if the Hogs still hold the record. Either you know or you don't.

I don't think so. Arkansas won by 52. There was a terrible loss to Kansas State that I think exceeded that margin.

And even then Arkansas didn't play the same Missouri team that finished the year. One of the star players wasn't in that game.

I assume they do. They beat our most accomplished team of all time by 60 in a game once. Good job! Hopefully someday we can be like you guys

Don't just assume I want to know for sure since that was Missouri's best team ever. And quit hoping because Missouri will never win a National Championship in any sport.

I'm sorry, I thought your AD was crying for the Mizzou/Arkansas rivalry, my bad.

No. It wasn't. It wasn't even close to teams like the 1980-1984 Tigers who won four straight Big 8 championships, set records like highest field goal percentage for a season (which will never be broken).

Nor was that team as good as some in the late 80s with Derrick Chievous, Doug Smith, Byron Irvin, Anthony Peeler.

Maybe, maybe not. Most accomplished yes. Hard to determine a "best team ever" when you're looking at a program.

I think we both know "crying" is extreme. I think he considered Mizzou a more logical rival than USCe before the whole scheduling controversy, but that will have to wait.

You are correct. I looked it up and the Hogs won 120 - 68. Damn, that was a fun game to watch in person.

All the hyperbolic trolling aside, doesnt Arkansas/Mizzou make a whole lot of sense for both programs?

Many of the Mizzou Fans I know think that team was the best. I really don't know but they were pretty damn good that year. The Hogs were also damn good (won the NC that year) and everything went right in that game. That was the dedication game for Bud Walton Arena.

Geographically, yes, but we've been playing USC for 20 years and we joined the SEC the same year they did.

Y'all got TAMU for the same reason, I assume. It can all be shaken up in 2013 from what I hear...

Yea, there are more factors at play for sure.

USCe, who will they get? aTm doesnt make a lot of sense either.

Gotta think that a 16 team SEC is coming or a realignment within the existing 14 teams.

Paul O'Liney. Another star player, Kelly Thames, was only a freshman and playing in his first college game ever.

Just look at that schedule. Arkansas stomped Missouri in the first game. Game #2 Missouri only beat Jackson State by 4. Game #4 only beat SMU by 5. Game #5 only beat Coppin State by 1.

That team struggled early and got better as the season went on.
