I know you are/were a fan of Kodi and all but I do think Moultrie will give us more production and consistency than Kodi ever gave us.
I was a fan of Kodi's talent- I wasnt a fan of how he used it. But even with all that- he was 2nd in the SEC in double-doubles last season.
Augustus gave us 12 and 7 last year, 33% from 3 for his career, and shot 83% from the line last season.
Now Moultrie may be more consistent and not be such a headcase- but he isnt going to average 17 and 11 this year- I just dont see it. Is he going to shoot 83% from the line? No. Is he going to shoot 30%+ from 3? No- Moultrie averaged 20% from 3 as a Soph....
Moultrie will be a good player for us and probably better than Kodi- but he wont be much better

Coonass, you don't think Deville Smith will start? I think we will start him alongside Dee.
Not to begin the season- we arent playing that puss schedule to start the season Stands usually plays- we are playing real programs for a change. I dont see him putting Deville in that situation.

That's why www.nbadraft.net has Moultrie as a 1st round pick in the 2012 draft.
ETA: Moultrie AND Rodney Hood are both listed on the 2013 list.

I do. Deville is better than both Bryant and Steele. He is a better scorer than both and has toughness from being from and playing in Jackson.

Deville doesnt shoot it like Steele- and handling the point as a true Freshman is tough- especially early. Grant bit the bullet and started Releford as a Freshman- and it cost them some early losses- but he got better as the year qwent on. It will pay off for them this season tremendously.
Stands cant worry about the future- his arse is on the line this year

I guess that's why Deville led us in 3 pointers made in Europe.
Come on Coonass you are struggling tonight. Are you drinking?

struggling at what? The European 3 pt line is 2 feet closer than the college line. You're the one saying Moultrie is a 1st round draft pick next year when he isnt even listed

WRONG.
The FIBA 3 point line is 22'4" the NCAA is 20' 9"

Find me a quote where I said Kodi was better than Moultrie- but I guarantee you he want match Kodi's shooting from 3 or FT- and he damn sure wont average 17 and 11

I said "to start the season"- 10-15 games in he very well could be

That is correct and the FIBA 3-point line is also about a foot and a half further back than the NCAA 3-point line.
