I'm glad a qualified scout has voiced his opinion on Josh Clemons. THANKS!
Oh, and why are you in all these State threads lately? Didn't you one day randomly decide that you are now an LSU fan?

If you mean by decide to go there, then year. You can keep pretending Kentucky is frat on the OT, though.

I don't try to "pretend" anything, bud.

And NIH you need to get over the whole trying to be super frat thing. It's gonna hurt you during rush if it shows.

Gotcha. Been to rush parties this summer I guess?

LSU really doesn't do much of that. I've been talking to some folks, though.
I won't be trying to be super frat during rush, either. Khaki shorts & a polo are what you're supposed to wear for the 1st round over two days, then khakis or slacks with a button up for the latter two days. LSU sent out kind of a guide on what to wear so folks don't get cut on first glance for wearing cargos or Hollister.

Kentucky will be straight up awful this year

When I went through rush at UK it was just a free for all basically. You went to as many or as few houses as you wanted for 5 days and stayed for as long as a little as you wanted. No official dress code, either. I think the first one or two days are more structured now, though, where you have to go to every house the first day or something like that.

I mean it's not an official dress code, it's just to help minimize face cuts for people who don't 'get it'. I guess. Judging by orientation I'd say that has probably been a big problem in the past.
It's real structured, 18 fraternities and you visit 9 on day 1 and 9 on day 2. You only spend around 15-30 minutes in each, list the 6 you like after that and then round two is on the Saturday. You spend 45mins-hour on day two then select three after that. Then you spend an hour or half or so at the top three then get your bids the next day. I kind of like that round 1 is short, you can keep things friendly, to the point, and not awkward.

Damn, sounds like sorority rush. One of the downsides of having basically no structure was having kids come back that weren't getting bids and having to ask them to leave. Thankfully I never had to have that job. I can be a dick when I want to, but that would be pretty hard, especially having to do it repeatedly.

I had to talk to criminals and poor people all summer long so talking to random fraternity guys should be a breeze.
the worst story i've heard was about kappa sig when they got back at LSU like 7-8 years ago. they had a ridiculous pledge class of 80-90 people and ended up blackballing kids after they paid dues just to get the cash. now that's something greek affairs deserved to hammer them over.
