Ole Miss fans are missing something important here.

Nutt didn't have to give Masoli all the reps in camp. Nutt didn't have to pursue Masoli.

Nutt is rallying the fanbase and making the NCAA the bad guy here, and whining publicly like a little bitch.

The fool in this scenario is Nutt. I am an Arkansas fan and you guys won't take that at face value.

It wasn't a bad idea considering what we had after Cotton left. Now, we are back where we started, which I'm fine with. I don't like how or why it was done, but it is what it is...

With the NCAA?

You mean how they made schools change native american mascots but not Florida State?

True, except that a lot of wastetd time was invested in Masoli in camp, and now your true starter has all the confidence of TulsaHawg in front of a vagina going into the season.

How about just go out, recruit a QB, and develop him.

He allowed himself to be at the discretion of the ruling.

My 7th grade English teacher had a little poster on her wall that read:

"Lack of prior planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

We did, and he got mad because he wasn't going to start and left. Put us in a bit of a bind...

Of course. Are you assuming that nobody else was given reps in practice? Masoli needed more reps if he was going to get to play, Stanley has been there 3 years now and didn't need all of those reps to learn the O...

Nah, just seems foolish to bet on a dude who isn't cleared.

Nutt seemed to believe it was a done deal. It wasn't. I don't think Stanley is that bad. Its a shame that he got pushed aside. He should have been number one, at least until Masoli got cleared to play.

Stupid, stupid, stupid logic. There was no reason, and no precedent to think he wouldn't be cleared. Nutt is in charge of winning football games. Giving the best QB on the field a chance to learn the offense is a critical part of winning football games.

He called us. Nutt said no. We lost Cotton and Nutt re-evaluated our QB situation and decided it was worth the risk. He was right, it WAS worth the risk. Remember, he's in charge of winning football games.

Because they are. They ignored their own precedence and caved into pressure from media outlets and SEC coaches. They are acting like the little bitches here. If they don't like the rule, release a public statement saying that they disagree with the spirit of OM's use of the rule and intend to change it next year, but they cannot stop him from playing this year.

He's whining like a little bitch? He's stating his case in the media and in public forums. He's pissed because the NCAA just cost us one or possibly two wins this season. Wait, didn't I say this before... somewhere.. Oh that's right, he's in charge of WINNING FOOTBALL GAMES.

Wrong. HDN is in charg... oh frick it. You won't listen because you're a hog fan.

The NCAA didn't cost you shite. They simply ruled on request that was borderline at best.

Its not the NCAA's fault that you guys are scrambling to put together an offense.

Its ok.

I actually kind of feel bad for you guys, because I know first hand what its like to watch that bumbling gomertard coach my team.

He's been in over his head since he left Boise.

You're a moron. We're not scrambling to put together an offense. We're scrambling to add an experienced QB because one of our other QB's is a pussy who expected to start without actually competing for the job.

Yeah, you also know what it feels like to get arse raped by that same coach, two years in a row. Sadface.

The same could be said about alot of the ole miss posters here. You took a chance trying to bring him in. Your coaches and administration should have been more open about the possibility of him not being cleared. So now, they're spinning as if the NCAA is teh bad guy. The same organization that you're a member institution of and agree to be subjected by their rules and rulings.

Yea, I mean the odds against this poor kid to be in the wrong place at the wrong time three times...

Such a great individual who deserves a 4th chance.

What. The. frick? If you've had Christmas every year of your life, and when you're 12, you run down stairs and your dad hands you a rake and says "that lawn had better be spotless when I get back from the bowling alley". Is it your fault for not expecting that there was the slight possibility that Xmas was canceled this year?

frick that. The NCAA has ruled favorably in the past on similar cases. Eat a dick with that shite.

Yeah, you're right. As member institutions, we are allowed to, ney encouraged to help write, enforce and decide on these issues and we should have known better. See my response above.

Why the hell do you keep saying Nutt gave Masoli all the reps? You've said this several times already when it's not true. The reps were split between all 3 of them, and Stanley has been working with the 1's all spring and summer

Yeah I kept wondering why he was saying that. Like I said last night....I keep forgetting that all their attention is on the practices in Oxford...not in Fayetteville.

Surely the NCAA called and questioned someone at Oregon regarding Masoli. I wonder what they told the NCAA.
