So Masoli basically = one major off-season distraction that was completely unnecessary.
I used to like Houston Nutt but he is pure trash for accepting Masoli and Hornsby. If you get kicked off a team for serious stuff like the 2 guys mentioned, you should either not be able to play ball, or have to transfer to some 1AA school.
You should not be able to just transfer away to the SEC's toilet bowl and be immediately eligible. Good for the NCAA for forcing Ole Miss to have minimal standards even if they don't want to have them.

he's the same fig who said he attended OM for either undergrad or grad school but considers it a toilet bowl. this guy screams win.

Where is there even a resemblance of a similarity between Dareus getting maybe a couple hundred dollars worth of a benefit from a party and a 3 time offender being denied a waiver he was never entitled to in the first place??
The OM defense of this is getting beyond ridiculous. Don't drag other players down just because your program has no class.

when did i say that, and when have we not punished our athletes. i'm pretty sure we kicked our starting quarterback off the team two years ago months before the season started. we also didn't try to admit a kid kicked off another school. that's what memphis state does

It's an awesome school to attend. I'm trashing the football program, not the University.

Albert Means gives your program class
Free textbooks give your program class
Dareus going to agent parties and asking for napkin receipts gives your program class
Seriously, get off your high horse and spew your morality police bullshite to people that care.

Ole miss should've picked up Ryan Perrilloux too and allowed him to continue with his education..

bama got the probation hammer for albert means, and means went to memphis shortly thereafter. the guy who paid for means, was a memphis booster that didn't even attend bama.

dareus has yet to be cleared by the ncaa. how dare they wait till this close to the season to make a decision

He would have been denied as well

he would have been asked to sit out a year, and rightly so. if masoli wants to play football, he can easily go the 1-aa route like plenty of other athletes do in his situation

OK it's official. Ole Miss has the biggest homers on this board. The spin is dizzying.

there wasn't a single d-1 program willing to mess w/ perrilloux, which should have been ole miss' attitude towards masoli, who actually got in a lot more trouble than RP ever did.

Yea and we fricking paid for it too.
Now quit whining as if the NCAA really gives a frick about Ole Miss enough to want to make an example of you.
LMAO at the Ryan Perriloux joke.

Great post. There is just no way to spin this Ole Miss. I wouldn't bash you so much if you guys could at least admit this was a dumb move by Nutt.
