Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the season’s outstanding college football receiver
I guess "outstanding" is open for interpretation.

Congrats to the most outstanding receiver in college football.
MHJ won it because of his name. Plain and simple. He is good but both Nabers and Thomas are better.

Are there going to be any melt by LSU fans?

I'm sure there will be one... since that's all you asked for.

If "outstanding" doesn't mean things like yards, receptions, YAC, 1st downs, missed tackles, etc, then what does it mean?
Hang on...I'm looking for your outrage about Bailey Zappe in 2021.

That season has already begun.

Yeah, I've been trying to get him to answer that.
Honestly, I'd accept if he just said "yeah, Harrison wasn't the best receiver this year - this was more like a career award".
Which is perfectly fine. That's why Delpit got the Thorpe in 2019.

So you can't answer the question?

I answered that on the first page.
You're biased and you disagree, and that's fine. The people who matter aren't and don't.

I have.
More than once.

He’s been melting pretty hard since Bama made the playoffs about all things SEC.

Still salty that I embarrassed you over on MSB?

"Outstanding" is not an answer.
Just admit you can't answer it.

Look, you think it's a stats award. I get it.
Your dude was close to the best player in football. Hold your head high, sport.

Harrison now has the same number of post season awards as Ohio State has post season wins over SEC teams.

1 person. 1 person thought the receiver with 19 fewer receptions and 330 fewer yards was better.

What is it, then?
If it's not "stats" as you call it - if it's not leading the nation at your position group, what does it mean to be outstanding? What's so special about Harrison that's not special about the 8 receivers that had better seasons than him?

Sure, but the difference is Marv has the trophy.
