You're trying to shite on Birmingham by listing things that Tuscaloser doesn't have? Solid plan

Yeah that's why he had to run back to Birmingham and rent out a Chris Hastings restaurant just for him and his wife to wash the trash taste of Tuscaloser away

Hastings has a place in Tuscaloosa.

Tuscaloosa is so bad you had to leave the whole state? Damn bro.

I don't blame you with mouth breathers like RollTide1987 running around that don't even realize 45 minutes away in Birmingham there's some of the top restaurants in the south and a couple of world famous chefs

Dude...my parents live 45 minutes away from Atlanta/Buckhead. I live in Honolulu. Please don't tell me about top restaurants and world famous chefs. Birmingham has some good restaurants but let's not make the city out to be the culinary capital of the south.

The best steakhouse in the state isn't even in Birmingham, it's in Huntsville.

I'm sure Hastings is manning the kitchen in Tuscaloosa all the time while he's busy with Hot & Hot and OvenBird in Birmingham

Why can't Tuscaloosa cook their own food? The only restaurants in Tuscalooser worth anything that aren't national chains or Taco Casa are just secondary locations of Birmingham restaurants. Develop your own culture you parasites

All I need is a heavy dose of Archibalds, City Cafe and Hooligans and I'll be a happy 350 lb tub of lard.

I can tell you, he's not manning any kitchen full time. He creates the menu and has his chefs take care of the rest. He probably stops off at each of his stores. That's how he maintains consistency, as well as introducing new meals.

I can tell you which of his restaurants Hastings personally cooked for a billionaire at. And it wasn't the one in Tuscaloser. Zuckerberg and wife had a huge appetite left though after that trash Bama tried to feed him

quote:

"They had a big ol' meal," Hastings said. "They crushed it."

And Hastings and his wife actually do spend a lot of time personally running the show at OvenBird since it opened. It's their baby, their "life's work".
