How is this thread still going?

Who the frick cares if he threw at him....The guy was dropping bombs all over us all weekend. I for one am glad we nutted up and came after him. Better to lay one in his back than give up another mammo bomb.

laying one in the back is different than in the head. Hes a college pitcher, he has control of the ball and was clearly throwing at his head, not his back.

But if he 'meant' to throw actually behind the body of the batter, he and Cohen HAD to know this might be a little um...confrontational?

I'm sure the point was to get under LSU's skin. There seems to be a general hatred between the 2 coaches. But like I said, they knew if they didn't hit him and kept it far enough away to where it was obvious they weren't really trying to hit him, then there was no real foul.

Maybe not the smartest move, but it did seem to work.

I'd throw at his arse to see if he could react fast enough. Then if he did get out of the way I'd throw at him again for flinching

No way was he intentionally throwing at his head. I agree that he was intentionally trying to hit him, but he woulnd't go for the head purposefully, that could ruin his life/career.

He was simply sending a message that said your not going to shite all over us without repercussions

Well how about this, he hits his head, benches clear and game is called, LSU wins 2-0. Then maybe state misses SEC Tournament by one win. Or how about you guys are playing Arky and you have a guy lighting them up so they hit him in the head and he is out about for two weeks, and you take a downward spiral.

It is just kinda stupid, but you can bet your arse now you are going to be thrown at this year as you guys have "opened the door." If that is the way you want to play the game, (Pussy game to me to begin with as the ball cant hit back), then so be it.

frick it would be more interesting to me to just see how many people you can take out in a game, or just put pitchers in big cage with shield and balls and batters with bat and helmet and let them fight it out man to man. Two men in one man leaves, but i think that was thunderdome.

How exactly did he shite on you? By getting big hits against sub-par pitching?

I think there are other SEC teams that can throw at peoples heads too, but a lot of them can actually hit the mark.
