I've addressed this situation multiple times already. Polk ran it into the ground -- and it essentially started in 1991.

I'll admit I have not read the 50 preceding pages, but I know in his 7 plus years at LSU PM was names national coach of the year in 08 and 09, won back to back to back Sec tournaments, won the Sec twice and a CWS championship and your coach sure has a hard time winning a series against him. You can scream about how your coach is all wonderful and ours isn't, but facts do tend to get in your way.

Even if he had a .500 ob% I would argue that does not equal "not getting out very much."
Rea got on base 5 times out of 12 plate appearances which does not equal .500 ob%.
