You act like this is the only camp. There are many many more man, I think you are being a bit exaggerative.
Plus those schools don't even offer athletic scholarships so they wouldn't be playing for free anyways.

Power play on both ends, Texas leverages their relationship with a LA HS coach to get face time in Baton Rouge.. LSU leverages relationships to shut it down.
High end of the food chain making moves and the guppies get eatin up. Until there is a rule change, Texas & LSU staffs are doing their job here.

Any logical Texas fan would agree with you. If LSU teamed up with a D3 college in Oklahoma to host a camp in Austin, Herman would do all in his power to shut it down.

Can't tell if the Texas fans are intentionally being facetious or just stupid.
Texas wasn't coming to Louisiana to recruit guys who wouldn't get attention otherwise. Texas doesn't give a frick about those kids and rightfully so, you guys are a major player in college football. Texas wanted to come in to spend time in the ear possibly with a few select recruits.
You're great at quoting history, but fail to give yourself any actual credit presently. If you are looking for 1 and 2 star unknown athletes at a camp with Bellhaven, then you have a much longer road than you think. If this is Herman's grand plan, you'd better start planning for your next head coach.
And even if they are, why would LSU want Texas, another major football school, to have ANY presence in south Louisiana if it had a say in it, in this case, it did.
If Texas isn't prepared to do the same in the state of Texas, well have fun not competing for a while.

Texas should've never fired Mack Brown, aka the last coach to have any pull in the state.

As much as I enjoy being verbally abused by the toothless hillbillies of Arkansas whenever UT visits Fayetteville I think most of the people involved with UT would pass on visiting the Ozarks
