Etling is average. I don't know why this upsets you so much.

He's a really really bad college quarterback. But it doesn't upset me nearly as much as you editing every single post you make.

He's really really average, but ok.

Edit (just to upset you): It's not my fault you refuse to respond to any counter-point that may run afoul with the argument you're trying to make. Still waiting on those per-game average comparisons...

This is the last time I'm responding to you because no one else wants to read any of this and you're really bad at your "counter points" that you think are well thought out and meaningful.

This is what you said orginally

quote:

I don't think he's any worse than a guy like Greg McElroy was.

So I list his stats as a senior. You lose your mind, make up a few stats, backtrack, and say no no no I meant his junior year not his senior year then try to spin it as if that's what you originally meant.

No one cares if Etling was slightly worse than a qb that played 7 years ago in his junior year. And no rational human thinks Etling can match his senior year numbers of 3k yards/20 touchdowns/70% completion rate.

then respond to them and show me how I'm wrong

So I asked you to provide his junior year stats to compare to Etling's junior year stats, which you still refuse to do on a per game basis.

You lose your mind,

no

no I misstated one stat and corrected that stat, but ok.

backtrack,

um, nope pretty much have restated the same thing throughout

no, didn't do that either.

I picked a player that is generally understood to have been an average college QB. I could have picked some other random QB as well.

You flat out are being intellectually dishonest if you really believe that's how this argument went. You continually compared McElroy's senior season to Etling's junior season. When asked to compare their per game averages from their junior seasons, you began to dodge every single metric given, except for season totals, which, as i said, are ridiculous to compare because McElroy started 4 more games than Etling did. I made ONE misstatement on one stat (QB rating), and that's all you seem to be able to focus on. I'm sorry, but that is juvenile and ignorant.

But if it makes you feel better to mischaracterize an entire argument to make yourself believe you've won, then by all means.

you can run the wishbone if you want.

Imagine the assrape that would have unfolded this season if Bama rolled out the Wishbone with Hurts at QB and any version of 3 Bama RBs in the backfield and opposing teams completely unprepared

In spite of all the negativity, Bama and LSU lead the SEC in offensive efficiency when values are adjusted for strength of schedule and down-weighted for "garbage time" (based on win probability).
