Alabama's stadium renovations, and other facility improvements, have been a contributing factor in great recruiting.

I seriously doubt that.

We recruit just as well as Bama and the inside of our stadium hasn't been renovated since World War 2.

Recruits look at the facilities THEY use, like academic center, locker rooms and practice facilities

You're joking, right? I thought everyone knew that recruiting was a crapshoot, and that the revised rankings often look different after a couple of years anyways.

But let's say your right. How do you explain last year's LSU-Alabama game? After four years of Saban recruiting?

But the bottom line is, this isn't the thread for recruiting discussions.

To get back on track:

quote:

LSU is considering adding club seats, suites or an upper deck, or a combination of those elements.

Since the east upper deck and its 70 skyboxes were added to Tiger Stadium in 2000, none of their owners have allowed their leases to expire.

There has been little turnover since LSU added 3,255 club seats in the rebuilt west upper deck in 2005, Vincent said.

This just lends credence to the reports coming out of the LSU Athletic Department that any addition would be "more suites than seats". Tiger Stadium suite demand is not currently being met.

It would be fun to know just how many suites and club seats each SEC stadium had.
