Because the op's premise is based on stats taken out of the game context.
LSU probably ran straight up the middle on 75% of its 2nd-half plays. It was like the LSU coaches just gave Auburn the playbook and headed for the exit.
But you guys want to act like LSU used the same gameplan and played with the same intensity of the first half, and you wonder why no one takes you seriously.

Re-read the OP.
I said the score is the only thing that matters. To me, it was interesting to see 2 teams finish a game will almost identical yards. I would have posted this thread about any 2 teams playing, but the only stats I look at are related to Auburn's games.
Not everything on the board is a troll, believe it or not.

We don't give a frick who takes us seriously or not the score board and stats don't lie. LSU should have ran it up but didn't? That won't bode well against any team with a serviceable O and competent D.
