How many Bama fans styed til the end when the University of Louisiana @ Monroe beat them 2 years ago?
Believe it or not, all of them. It was packed. While delusional, we are still delusional and loyal. i.e. ULM game, Dubose, fear the thumb, et all.

No you 2 are what I call Dooms Day fans. I am 100% sure you guys never enjoyed an LSU win in your life. Something is always wrong. I work with a guy like that.

ok pal
If you believe nothing is wrong with the team than I want whatever you are taking.
Also, considering past 2 pages we discussed the "fans" and not the team I wonder what you are smoking.

I am talking about everything in general. Whether it is the team or the fans or the weather or the parking or the tailgating, it doesn't matter it seems so many people want to cry about something. Stop crying and enjoy the damn game for once in your life.
This team needs to work on somethings, but they are more than ok. 9 to 10 wins and look for a cotton or capitol one bowl berth. Next year a more mature team will be a favorite to add a 3rd crystal bowl to the shelf.
As far as the fans....You must not have watched the Washington game or heard anything about Seattle? We owned the city. Yep we are shittie fans. Thanks for clearing that up.

Damn tv fooled me then. Rain did not look that heavy.
I cannot imagine an AU, BAMA, UGA, UF, UT, etc stadium being half empty in an SEC home opener.
What an embarrassment to the SEC. TS does NOT deserve its reputation anymore if LSU fans can't sit through a little rain in the SEC home opener.
It really is not that big a deal to me. Look at the Spring game attendence. Not saying this game was not relevant, but the weather and the fact that the game never really seemed in doubt contributed to alot of people checking out. Tiger Stadium will be rocking for real when the chips are down and the stakes are higher.
You can talk all you want about how shameful you think it is, the mystique is real though. You can't expect the same electicity for Vanderbilt on a miserable day that you would get for Florida on a chilly clear Saturday night.

we can score on that shite arse Chavis defense
TN vs. FL in 2008, Chavis D gave up 243 yds of offense. That's with Percy still there

Well, I was at that game in 07, and I know that LSU traveled well as they always do. But I don't think that 50,000 actually made it to BDS. I do think that 50,000 left TS at halftime tonight.
50,000 went to tuscaloosa is what I said. Only about 10-15k of us were in the stadium. I just remember Bama fans freaking out trying to spread the word not to sell tickets to us.
I was at the game last night and there were about 90k there for kickoff. I'd say 20k left the stadium at halftime...which is pathetic. LSU actually has fans with money that think theyre too good to sit out in a little rain. Bama doesnt have this problem.

Guarantee it won't happen vs. Auburn this year

So 12k fans go to an away game and makes up for the 40k that left in middle of an SEC game, first home game, close game????

Oh I forget people are not allowed to complain about LSU that makes them "negatigers"
Everything is great LSU is best team in college football, happy?

I will lay a 500 bet on that considering what LSU is set to lose.

capitol one bowl berth
Spell Check? High School kid apparently

the best posters are negatigers.
Posted on 9/13/09 at 1:37 pm to heartbreakTiger
Well there is a difference between a negatiger and someone calling it as it is.
To say the Fans sucked last night is the truth, but those who want to sugar coat everything see it as negative.
To say LSU struggled is truth, but because it is negative about LSU one is considered a "negatiger"
It's odd logic if you ask me

nope their is no difference here bt realist and negatigers. they are the same.

Saints look great today though
A Negatiger would be someone who says stuff like:
Worst defense ever
Jefferson cant pass
Scott overrated
Something that is just not true but they wish to make LSU sound bad.

I didn't see any of the LSU game; can you give me a short summary? I know the score and I've heard LSU had some offensive woes.

Ross
Defense improved, shut down Vandy passing game although drops were issue for Vandy
Defense contained their QB in running game but their 2 speed backs ran 25 times for 124 yards. Vandy as a team rushed for 122 on 39 yards though.
Offensive line still pathetic allowed Vandy to get some hits on Jefferson
Williams looks like he should start
Jefferson has yet to complete a pass in air over 10 yards
Drops were a problem although Vandy dropped 3x more passes.

Russel shep got in the game. he looked good. We still didn't open it up. Our oline looked bad at times and KW was our best back.
D improved but dbs were still lost and vandy drops helped our d. our dline got a better push this week still not where i think it should be.
we improved but we still aren't at the level i think we should be at.
eta and im convinced that ciron black his hurt but the rant doesnt believe me
Richard murphy made all other hurdles look like a bitch but on the same play took a hard hit and is prob done for the year.

Vanderbilt's offense is supposed to be anemic this year; but their defense is supposed to be decent. Would you say LSU looked improved on the whole from last week?
