I like the old adage that you’ve had a good season if you win the games you should and half the games you shouldn’t. If that is the case, 11-1 would be worst scenario for an outstanding regular season for LSU and 12-0 is within reach because this is more than an “on any given day” scenario. A 7 point spread can be quickly changed by turnovers, busted coverages, special team errors and many other things, some too negative to even consider.
I saw the Fla and Auburn games as the main two games standing in our way of an 11-1 season. Now that we have won those two I have loosened up, I always want to beat Bama but with the way this season has played out I see both teams making the playoffs barring a blowout in the Nov 9 game. I see LSU playing with house money.
. I see two teams with similar strengths and I don’t see B-D as faring strong home field advantage in this game. This adult think we are an underdog, but elite 19-22 year old athletes see themselves as world beaters. Kick the damn ball off and let’s see how this plays out.

No Baw. It can't be that. In the last 8 games, we were ranked top 5, 4 times. The other 4 times we were top 20. It is probably just that the manlet gets his team up better for LSU than the others.

Honest answer
This is the best offense LSU has had that I can remember. Our defense is shaky at times but seems to make decent half time adjustments.
Alabama has the worst defense in the last 8 years and an average run game, but you have really good receivers.
If we are going to beat you, this is our best chance. Saban will go down as one of the greatest coaches ever, so a loss would not surprise me.
My gut tells me the game won’t be close, one of us will be exposed on defense. I pray it’s you.

Bama us still Bama. Very few have beaten them especially teams who have to face them annually. There’s been a few other years in last 8 where we were capable but came up short. I believe this year is more of a pick em game than in recent years but being on the road and with our secondary not quite as deep as in recent years I’m not confident at all

Why would an LSU fan have to hope and pray? LSU is a good team and very capable of winning. It's not like it's arky going into Tuscaloosa.

I'm as casual as possible. Looking forward to it. Lsu could lose big. Lsu could lose close. Lsu could win close. For the first time in years, I think lsu could win convincingly. That's the only thing that I see has changed.

Nope. In several of the past 8 years I was cautiously optimistic with a side of lethargy.
