i wish LSU could do like Bama did pre-Saban and keep the coaching search "in the family." Between Bear and Bear Jr., yall had kept it mainly in the family with weird exceptions like Bill Curry and Fran and the stripper guy that didnt coach. But Perkins, Shula, DuBose, and to an extent Stallings (junction boy, but a bear disciple nonetheless), were all fambly.

We tried it with Jerry Stovall but that didn't work out too good. are there no former LSU players who cut it as coaches?

Give me the best guy. If that's an LSU guy, great. If not, don't really care.

I don’t like that idea so much.

Let’s just get the best man for the job.
