I'm curious to know if there is a trend for teams' performances the week AFTER they play bama or LSU against the spread. My guess is that they would tend to lose ATS more often than they would win.

Could anyone help me out, by letting me know a simple way to compile this data, or else point me to a place where it has already been compiled?

I think this would be an interesting stat to consider.

1 week after playing Alabama LSU beat the hell out of MSU. Does this help your research?

Name a team that hasn't beaten the hell out of MSU in the past month.

But, for real, it would be an interesting stat to see.

Okay, didn't mean to stray from the point. I agree really, LSU and BAMA beat up teams more than any other teams in the country. It does make a difference playing such a physical team, and then having to play a quality team the next week.
