You need to do some research on integration in the SEC if you insist on being on an SEC board talking shite. You're about to get into deep shite fast.

Are they so dumb that they don't realize that Kentucky, as a founding member of the Southeastern Conference, cannot be kicked out?

Clearly. Meanwhile they had to be turned down by every "suitor" in a few hundred mile radius until the ACC had to start grabbing teams to salvage their conference.

Congrats on finally finding someone to want you.

That's not what your dumb arse said to begin with though. You said the 1970's.

Admit to your blatant lie, or your stupidity. Your choice.

This. They're like a two dollar whore.

Meanwhile, we've been part of the same conference since it's founding.

You said yourself the school, not UofL, dissolved in '51. So how did UofL integrate that early again?

Apparently we're all racists because of Rupp. A coach we had almost 50 years ago.

I'll take a racist coach over one who rapes women and then pays them off.

Did you miss the part where UofL absorbed the school that served African Americans in 1931. At that point they became UofL students, it took a few years to fully integrate but UofL established early on that they wanted African American students.

I didn't see UK making any effort to absorb an African American school.

Louisville Capital One Standings - Men -5th, could win it with Baseball title. Women - 21st Not Flaming Mizzou, but did the SEC/ B12 let one get away with Louisville. Im sure Ketucky would not have let it happen, but they sure are looking like a all around good program.

Never said every UK fan was racist, but there is a larger portion of racist UK fans than you want to admit. The fact is though you celebrate a coach that was racist in every single way until he had to have African-American players to keep up.

They're our new rival -- I don't think they really understand what they're getting into. The culture clash is going to be something else entirely.

They're going to hate us.

Why don't you start an argument you can win? Perhaps UL was the first school in the state to have red in their color scheme. Were they around before WKU?
The integration argument is about the dumbest thing I have read on her for a while.

Probably because there wasn't one in Lexington to absorb?

We were the second team in the SEC to have an African American basketball player and, to my knowledge, the first team to have an African American football player.

You need to remember what board you're on.

That sucks. UVA is so much better than UL in almost every aspect.

And you currently embrace Rick Pitino post-scandal. Congrats on that moral high ground.

Oh and BTW USMC Gator, I figured I would respond to your schedule smack comment awhile back. Do you really want to go there? UF hasn't played a non conference game outside the state of Florida since 1991!! I will now list some of the teams that your mighty Gators have faced in non-conference play in the last few years:

Bowling Green
Louisiana
Jacksonville State
Florida Atlantic
UAB
Furman
Miami (OH)
Appalachian State
Charleston Southern
FIU
Troy
Hawaii
The Citadel

If there is one program that can never talk smack to anyone about scheduling, it is the Florida Gators. Last time I checked The Citadel, Charleston Southern, Appalachian State, Furman and Jacksonville State aren't even FBS!!!! You seriously couldn't find a lower end Big 12, Big East, or even Moutain West or C-USA team to play? That is beyond pathetic.

Meanwhile, you should talk to your best friends, the Georgia Bulldogs, about how scared UofL is to play good teams. UofL had a home and home with Georgia in 2011 and 2012 that Georgia cancelled! Here is a link:

Georgia cancels series with UofL

In addition to Georgia teams like Georgia Tech and Wisconsin have also cancelled series with UofL, leaving UofL scrambling to fill in the schedule, usually with a weak opponent. Back in the 90s before teams stopped playing decent OOC games, UofL played the following teams:

Florida State
Ohio State
Penn State
Texas
Texas A&M
Florida
Tennessee
Oklahoma
Miami

And those are just off the top of my head. In fact our Athletic Director Tom Jurich has said multiple times that he has contacted every school in a BCS conference regarding home and home series, and very few schools will play us. So yes, every school in the SEC has been contacted by UofL, so don't call us scared because you all don't want to play us.

The fact is USMC Gator we are in a transition year. Our schedule this year is horrible, there is no doubt about it, not one single UofL fan is happy about our schedule. We tried to get into the ACC this year but with Maryland not leaving the ACC until 2014 we were out of luck, so we are stuck in this American conference for one year. But the fact is we will play anyone, anywhere, anytime. How about this USMC Gator, have Jeremy Foley call up Tom Jurich tonight, tell him that UF would play UofL in a one game series in Jacksonville (technically a neutral site but it might as well be a UF home game) first week of the season. I can tell you right now that Jurich would accept and our team will be here. The question is, would UF be up for the challenge this time?
