The basketball thread is not sad, it’s stagnant. Our fan base has given up on basketball until Crean is fired, which will be in the next month and a half, so why should there be a lot of talk?

Unsure as basketball is simply a thing for fans of teams with substandard football programs.

Golf, tennis, swim and dive, baseball, softball have all been above average (top 25). Men's basketball is really our only weak spot.

I don't either. That's a good question, actually.
A lot of people don't know this, but I could have played in the NBA. If i were 6" taller, could dribble, pass or shoot I would have been there!
Actually, I was always horrible at basketball, so I never grew a love for the sport. I enjoyed watching my high school team play and went to a couple in college, but it never took. Mainly, I think, because i was so inept at it.
