ob also saying many at texas believe muschamp hasn't even been contacted yet, which would explain why no press release has come.

May be negotiating a sweetened deal for Muschamp to stay.

Either a date certain for HC (or a big bonus) or a raise. Will announce when all that is settled

maybe so. conflicting reports about whether or not muschamp has even been in orlando recently for the coaches conference. this is getting a little bit stranger than texas fans would have liked i think.

I'm just throwing out alternative explanations. I am not predicting at all.

It is interesting.

Just when we thought we were in for that long boring "no college football" time of year

Tennesse's back is against the wall here. They could really be making a sweet deal and the more I think about it, the more I see it happening. Mack is not going to retire within the next 5 years and UT is a premier college football job with a lot of resources. This move makes a lot of sense to me. If Muschamp makes a good HC, he should be able to be successful at a place like UT. Plus, he seems like a good guy and that would definitely be a big change for the Vol football program. It's been a while since they've had a HC with some integrity.

I think Muschamp is making a mistake if he does not take the job at UT. It's time and his wife needs to get over Austin.

Hubbs is saying Mushchamp is very real possibility...And if we offered Rodney Garner DC/recruiting coordinator he would jump on it in a second.

tuck,

Did you really mean to use the word "infamy" in your sig? Just wondering if I'm missing something here.

Infamy from my online Thesaurus:
noun
1 public infamy: notoriety, disrepute, ill fame, disgrace, discredit, shame, dishonor, ignominy, scandal, censure, blame, disapprobation, condemnation.
2 she was punished for her alleged infamy: wickedness, evil, vileness, iniquity, depravity, degeneracy, immorality; sin, wrongdoing, offense, abuse; formal turpitude.
