Back in the 90s lightning struck a tree in our back yard. It wasn’t even that close to our home but the lightning traveled under ground and into the house. Took out TVs, the oven, fridge, garbage disposal, the cook top, a couple of clocks and the garage door opener. The microwave and coffee maker were the only appliances that survived.
There was no warning as the sun was still out and it hadn’t even started raining when it struck.
We were upstairs when a it sounded like a bomb went off, a streak of white light flashed thru the house and it felt like the house - a solid 4 sided brick - actually felt like it rose up for a few seconds. It sure got our attention. We now have a very healthy respect for lightning

So the players go in the locker room and the 90,000 fans have to sit there on metal bleachers in the rain and get struck by lightning.

So fans are REQUIRED to stay in their seats??? That's odd.

I bet these folks sought cover shortly after.

I was there. And I was not drunk and did not bark in a single persons face. And if I had chosen to I would have been barking at fellow Dawgs as that was vast majority of the people sheltering under the stands with me.
I didn’t actually see the lighting when it struck but I sure heard it. Probably the worst lightning I’ve ever encountered at a game
